Cure Hangover with Yoga
This week has been crazy for me, the social lucky star followed me through out the entire week, I have met many new friends and suddenly my weekend becomes a time where I have to make many tough calls to decide which party to crash instead of sitting at home to write a blog bitching about how lonely I am here without friends. So I think it is a good thing to be busy, I love it!
On Friday, Sebs called and invited me to join him and his friends for Korean BBQ, apparently the host is also a Malaysian. So I went there at last and met his friends, they are totally cool people! We had a lot of fun and had wayyyyy too many shots. [Note: Never drink with the sales guy ] I couldn't stop from puking and was too drunk to drive home so I had to crash their house last night. Feeling rather sorry that I got so drunk at a new friend's house so fast.
On the next day, I woke up and dragged my ass to drive back to my apartment. The hangover was unbearable but I tried to make some food and pop some aspirin before I took a shower and head to my yoga workshop with Desiree. I had the thought of not going to the yoga workshop because I was just too limpy to even do a down dog. I blamed myself for not knowing my own limits and pushed myself too far, but I paid for the yoga workshop and was really looking forward to that. So I went at last.
Desiree and her partner Patrick are genuinely awesome teachers. 3 hours of intensive yoga was well paid off and I was so glad that I did not back down. Who knew I could actually do a hand stand and many other poses that I thought I won't be able to conquere? It was an extraordinary experience that I will never forget. I felt so much love to be in the community. I want to thank Larissa, my yoga teacher, for the wonderful opportunity to have such divine experience of life. Jai Namaste.
